Darrin Patrick, Vice-President of the Acts 29 Network, has written a book called Church Planter: The Man, The Message, The Mission.

From looking it over, it emphasizes what you might expect from the Mark Driscoll group--hard reformed edge, concern for sin and character, and an emphasis upon preaching. There is very little that is practical or even all that much on mission. Not exactly an exciting read, but I have found this to be the case with Crossway books.

The above video illustrates the somber tone of this book, reflective of the Calvinistic emphasis upon the depravity of man.

What do you think of Church Planter and the Acts 29 network?
