About Me
My name is Allen Coker and I am the preacher at the National Park Church in Hot Springs, AR. You can check out the church at www.nationalparkchurch.org and my personal blog at www.allencoker.com. I am married to Kristy and have an 11-yr old daughter, Holley and a 4-yr old son, Drew. I have been a full-time preacher for 18 mos. now. Prior to this, I served in various positions at Magnolia Bible College in Central MS (Chief Administrative Officer before leaving). I have a BA in Bible from there and 15 hrs of grad work in Leadership & Mgt. In many ways I'm new to the idea of "missional renewal" so I'm trying to learn as much as I can. I am interested in leading an existing church in missional renewal. I enjoy discussions about organizational theory, leadership and theology.
