Hey all! My name is Wilmer Christopher Rivera and I am passionate about God, the future leadership potential for Hispanics, and soccer! I'm bilingual speak English and Spanish. I am a student at Oklahoma Christian in my third year as a junior. My years before entering school I helped start a soccer team and youth group (FCC) at Highland Oaks Church of Christ.

I've been a bible study and group leader and have also worked with the college ministries and pre-teen and teen ministries. So, in essence, I've been a jack of all trades in the ministry, never having been on staff though. Soon I will be part of FriendSpeak ministries here at HighPointe. We help people improve their english by going through the book of Luke with them. Hopefully it will lead to some conversions! I'm also helping Carlos Lopez (with the pre-teens and teens)in the spanish ministry at the Highland Oaks location in Plano,TX. I also volunteer at an "old folks home" where I entertain (sing and play guitar) and visit with the older generation. It is a personal ministry for me! There are some other things that I'm involved with, such as classical guitar playing, wine collecting, etc, etc. Yep, that's about it. How about you? What are your aspirations?
