The Churches of Christ in Uberlândia began with two Christian women moving into the area for work. They studied the Bible with women they met, baptizing some of them, and a women-and-children-only church was born. It wasn't too long before a mission team was sent over from Belo Horizonte and the congregation "went public." I, Adam Gonnerman, met and married Christiane, a member of the church in Uberlândia, moving to the city in 2001 and working there until late 2003.

One church has grown to three with small groups, a ministry training extension program and various ministries.

More information regarding this vibrant mission work in Brazil will be made available here soon. For now, welcome to the group!
