Here is an article on how those that rise to the top positions in business ask the right questions--they are not merely the experts in their fields.

My friend Trey Finley has a consulting business centered around the theme, The Question Matters. I love this idea, because whoever gets to asks the right questions can determine the direction of the group.

So, my question is simple: what is it about asking questions that makes this a leadership trait? What does the very asking indicate about a person?

I have always been a person who asks questions...as an engineer in school, I am sure the professor got tired of my questions...in a Bible class, I am seeking God's truth.

The questioner who benefits both himself and the class must be a humble person. When you expose yourself as not knowing something, that tends to create a class atmosphere for others to be encouraged to ask questions.
