Thanks for the input. I was not sure; I know they probably had tea back then, but not sure about coffee. It just made me wonder......I can see him drinking tea; what I wouldn't give to sit down and have a cup with him, or a glass of wine!!!! OR just sit down with him!!!!!

In answer to the question "Did Jesus drink coffee or drink tea?" I think since he was called a "wine- bibber " that He drank wine.

I LOVE cofee talk!! I want to bring up this topic...how many people are aware if someone in your congregation has a family member who are incarcerated??? We all like to visit those who are in prisons...but what about the families!! What is your congregation doing for the families who are hurting outside of the bars???? I need PASTORS to ask this question, if you find you get an answer...my prison ministry can help!!

James, we miss you guys. I had a dream this week (which I just remembered) that you guys were moving back down here...

Congrats on your son walking, by the way. I saw your Tweet.

James, my brother, why don't you give us an update on your Connecticut church experience? Any coffee drinking and fellowship going on up there?
